2D-Matrixcodes verification system
 
The REA VeriMax is a verification system for 1D Barcodes and 2D-Matrix-Codes especially designed for fully integrated installation in production lines. Thanks to its two operating modes, the REA VeriMax can be used individually in the production line according to the requirements: Either for manual random sample inspection or as an inline verification system.

REA VeriMax for machine and systems engineering
 
The REA VeriMax is a verification system that has been especially developed for seamless integration into production lines and verifies both 1D Barcodes and 2D-Matrixcodes. Thanks to its two operating modes, it can be flexibly adapted to the respective requirements of the production line: It can either be used for manual random sample inspections or as an inline verification system.
 
The more demanding the codes, the more demanding the task for an inline code verification device. With the REA VeriMax, up to five complex codes per second can be reliably verified inline. If the codes are simplified in their complexity, the verification rate of the REA VeriMax per second also increases.
 
Thanks to its small dimensions, it fits into any machine. The appropriate interfaces and the software for evaluating the codes come from REA. Integrators and machine manufacturers can use the programming interface of the REA VeriMax to integrate inspection and operation seamlessly.
 
The measurement of optical codes in compliance with defined angles, distances and lighting enables accurate and reproducible measurement results and quality assessments in accordance with ISO / IEC standards.
 
In addition to fully integrated installation in production lines, the REA VeriMax can also be mounted on a stand as a stand-alone verification system.

Product benefits, performance and test standards
 
The REA VeriMax is an advanced contact-free code verification system with a fixed CMOS camera system for maximum precision. It features 660 nm red light illumination from four directions and a darkened measuring chamber to minimize ambient light influences. The device verifies codes according to ISO/IEC 15415, 15416 and optionally according to ISO/IEC TR 29158. The requirements of user specifications such as the GS1 specifications, VDA and others can be included in the inspection.
 
A versatile software package enables the analysis of data structures according to ISO/IEC 15418 and ANSI MH10.8.2. Settings for user-defined profiles and a multilingual user interface ensure easy operation and fast customization. A removable top cover plate with replaceable glass plate facilitates maintenance and customization.
 
Overall, the REA VeriMax offers maximum accuracy and flexibility for reliable code verification in a variety of applications, including the specific requirements of the pharmaceutical industry.
